Glimpses of God at Work Eastern Canada

Seven years ago, the Home Missions Eastern Canada regional team helped form the Eastern Canada Leadership Network (ECLDN), which works in partnership with Christian Reformed churches from across Ontario to help identify, shape, and empower emerging leaders for the harvest. Meeting at sites in Burlington and Brighton, participants in the ECLDN work together in the context of a shared learning community of other adult leaders for three years. They are given the opportunity to deepen their character, increase their biblical and theological knowledge, and broaden their ministry skills. “More than 50 people who have gone through this program are serving in Ontario churches and have been empowered by taking part in the leadership development network,” says Van Giessen. “It has been a blessing to be involved with this.”
