Transformational Networks
Cultivating Gospel Ecosystems around "Kitchen Tables"

What are Transformational Networks?
Kitchen Tables
Transformational Networks are communities of service and learning that train people in an integral, biblical worldview. They gather lay leaders and pastors together around "kitchen tables" in a collaborative effort to transform all areas of life including the family, church, school, business, government, and media. They train people to impact their communities with the whole Gospel. And they put into practice Jesus' teachings about salvation, justice, and reconciliation, not only for life within a church's walls on Sundays, but also for life in the world the rest of the week.
These kitchen table talks ask questions like the following:
- What does the Good News of Jesus look like here and now?
- How has God brought us together to be part of that?
Gospel Ecosystems
Transformational Networks can be thought of as "Gospel ecosystems." When a Gospel ecosystem is healthy, it expresses the unity in diversity of God's Kingdom. Reproducing churches that are discipling believers to follow Christ in all areas of life are at the center of a Gospel ecosystem. Interrelated networks of pastors, educators, business people, and artists, among others, seek to express Kingdom values in all areas.
Where are Transformational Networks located?
Transformational Networks are spreading worldwide.
Eleven networks are in various stages of development in:
- Bangladesh
- Cambodia
- Canada
- Costa Rica
- Dominican Republic
- El Salvador
- Guatemala
- Honduras
- Nicaragua
- Nigeria
- Romania
The line on the map illustrates that transformational networks are global and local. Relationships are developing between church planting clusters in North America and transformational networks in other countries. These global networks emphasize young adults' involvement.

Who coordinates the Transformational Networks strategy?
The individual networks are independent but connected. Each network has its own coordinator or coordinating team.
World Missions' overall transformational strategy is coordinated by CRWM missionary Joel Huyser. Joel, based in Nicaragua, has played a formative role in the development of the Nehemiah Center, a transformational network in Nicaragua. Read more about Joel....
