The Nehemiah Center - Nicaragua
Help local Nicaraguan ministries actively engage with communities around them, while living in an intentional community devoted to studying scripture. The ability to speak Spanish and navigate independently through an urban setting is vital to this role. One year commitment preferred.
Seeds of a New Creation - El Salvador
Seeds of a New Creation is a Christian non-profit that promotes the church's integral mission through various training programs. Forming and working through networks is a key principle. Communications assistance in reaching English and Spanish-speaking audiences is needed, particularly in the areas of marketing, media, social media, and design. An administrative support person is also needed to prioritize work and coordinate logistics for training programs. Interested individuals should be bilingual. One year commitment minimum.
The Center for Transforming Mission - Guatemala
Urban Missions Experience (UME) is seeking a volunteer to help mobilize and nurture missional communities of grassroots leaders who serve in high-risk populations. UME is a discernment process for young leaders who desire to be part of a missional community in Guatemala City. The volunteer will engage in 30 hours of direct service and be part of theological training and spiritual formation. Bilingual candidate is preferred but not required. The volunteer will live in an intentional community.
Casa Adobe is located in Santa Rosa, a community where many residents struggle with chemical dependency. Casa Adobe seeks a Drug and Alcohol Addictions Outreach Coordinator to help Casa Adobe build relationships with locals (and local agencies) to facilitate rehabilitative services within the community. An advanced level of Spanish, desire to work with those who struggle with addictions, and excitement to live communally are vital. Casa Adobe also seeks an Immigration Relations and Information Coordinator to work with individuals and organizations to help immigrants living in Santa Rosa.
