Breaking Barriers - Issue 91, Fall 2011Fall: When parents find out that their child has a disability, many grieve the child they thought they would have as they come to love the child God has brought to them. This issue of Breaking Barriers is devoted to parenting a child with a disability. Winter: In what ways has living with a disability made an impact on serving in the church offices of deacon, elder, and minister? Please tell us a story about a joy, triumph, or challenge you and your church have encountered. Please send us articles (500 words or less) by November 10, 2011.
