Who can join the team?
- People with a passion for the church to reach out to immigrants,
- People with a passion for a more just immigration system,
- Experience in group facilitation or adult education is helpful but not critical if you have other transferable experience with immigration or ministry.
It isn't important to know everything about immigration; we have tools to support you on frequently asked questions. What is important is a love for God's church and for immigrants who are new to our communities.
What does the team do?
- Facilitates the workshop in teams of two.
- Generates interest with churches in hosting the workshop through their networks.
Members of the facilitator team are not expected to handle the participant registration process, emcee the event, provide refreshments, or promote the individual events.
