Justice and Worship

Perhaps justice isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you’re planning or participating in a worship service.  Maybe justice seems like too remote a concept, or even too controversial. 

But justice doesn’t have to be the theme of some special service once a year – it can be a vibrant daily aspect of your church’s life! 

By considering “justice and worship,” you’re not only looking at songs and sermons that touch on God’s love of justice. You’re also asking important questions, like: Who is welcome among us?  What does our worship sound like to those who are often neglected or ignored?  Is our congregation being challenged to work for justice or are we comfortable?
