Pastors' Spouses' Conference
September 23-25, 2014
On September 23-25, 2014 over 80 pastors’ spouses gathered at The Grand Hotel & Suites in downtown Toronto for 48 hours of fellowship, encouragement, and refreshment. The theme was “Face to Face: Becoming Brighter and More Beautiful” and the conference provided a safe place for spouses to share laughter and tears as they met face to face with God and each other. Highlights of the event included:
- Plenary presentations by Ruth Vander Zee
- Dinner and sightseeing at the CN Tower
- An introductory workshop on spiritual direction
- Lots of free time to relax and enjoy downtown Toronto
- Great food and fellowship!
When asked what the best part of the conference was, one spouse responded, “How can I pick one? Reconnecting and meeting new friends, time to relax, worship, the accommodations, and freedom to just be and be nurtured.” Another spouse said, “I’m so grateful for this opportunity to be refreshed and revived with sisters in Christ. Thank you for being so intentional in letting me know that I’m not alone.”
