Jeremiah 9:23-24 New International Version (NIV)

23This is what the LORD says:
“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom
or the strong boast of their strength
or the rich boast of their riches,
24 but let the one who boasts boast about this:
that they have the understanding to know me,
that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness,
    justice and righteousness on earth,
    for in these I delight,”
declares the LORD.

Sermon Resources

Maybe you’re convinced that racism and diversity are Gospel issues, but haven’t heard many sermons about racism or God’s diverse and unified family before--or weren’t trained to trace these themes through the Bible. Here are some resources to support you, and we’re happy answer any questions you may have.

You can also check out our Resources page for more theological and worship resources.

Communion Resources for Celebrating Immigrants

We don’t have to look far to see the work of the reconciling Christ in our midst: immigrants bring the blessing of multicultural ministry to the doorsteps of many of our communities and congregations. We have partnered with the “Immigrants are a Blessing, Not a Burden” campaign of the CRC’s Office of Social Justice to offer worship materials for congregations who wish to highlight immigrants and refugees during their All Nations Heritage Sunday.

Particularly if your church observes World Communion Sunday (the first Sunday of October), you may find this litany and these suggested scripture passages helpful.
